I use the HD2 and like the video quality a lot, but I have trouble with the audio. If I'm too close to mic, there is a rattling sound. Often I record separately with my Edirol and add the sound in with iMovie. Other times the sound is fine, so its unpredictable. I haven't been able to find a way to connect an exterior mic to it, even though there is a port. The size of the camera is its best feature, and it also takes very good still photos.
