I have a client that has some archival Real Media files with captions that appear below the video in Real Player.
They now want to re-encode the videos to post on Youtube, with open subtitles/captions. If I can get the Real Media caption file (SMIL .rt text file, from what I¹ve read), can I use that file to superimpose subtitles/captions actually on the video? Is there any easy way to do this, or an application that can do this automatically? If I have to, I could cut and paste, cut and paste, each title, and superimpose the titles in FCP, but I¹d rather not. Thanks for any advice. -Richard [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
