Are you looking to shoot HD, and do you have new Macs that can handle  
HD, and Final Cut Express 4 (which can handle AVCHD, the most popular  
tapeless HD format)?  If not, I think that there are only a very few  
tapeless SD cameras which will shoot in FCX-ready format.
