Tom Dolan: "...glad it didn't offend you. ... They're [Braille Inst] kinda floundering IMHO w/Nu media/web stuff."
No worries whatsoever, truly. Coming from a very (VERY) adversarial industry, my skin is practically armor plated. Besides; if one cannot tolerate candor from experience when seeking direction, why ask for knowledge at all? :D Interesting point you raise about charities (generally). I've been criticized by some in the Service Dog field, that I am approaching the marketing of our programs too aggressively. I mean, God forbid nonprofits are operated like businesses because... Ahem... THAT'S what they are! (I have found some charities consider advanced marketing, i.e. Web 2.0, a crass concept.) But I digress... Having thought about your take concerning the docu-promo/documentary thing, I do see the wisdom in what you've suggested. Consequently I think the 'here's the problem, deal with it' (straightforward) approach is superior to what I initially had in mind. Thanks again for your help, Tom. You're a gent!
