No, some higher end LCD projectors make a further adustment
according to the type of video signal. I sometimes have to correct our
projector when it has changed to a PAL setting by itself, even tho the
signal is NTSC.
The distance between the player and the projector can be a factor
in causing this error (especially if it's ceiling-mounted projector and
therefore guaranteed to be quite far from the player, leading to a
partially scrambled signal).
