Does anyone know where I might be able to get permission to show a short film that is on "Short 6 Insanity"? I can't find the film to purchase with rights, I can't find what appears to be the copyright owner (they've been swallowed up, and the company they got swallowed up by was swallowed up by Google recently), I can't find the director, although he's supposed to live in LA (checked Editors, Directors, and Writers guilds, online white pages). I'm about at my wits end. Film is Blue City and director is David BirdSell.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
