The Council on Foundations, in partnership with Grantmakers in Film +
Electronic Media,
holds an annual Film & Video Festival. The festival showcases dramatic
narrative and nonfiction

2 films are presented
with the Henry Hampton Award for Excellence in Film & Digital Media.
Named in honor of a
man who broke traditional molds of documentary filmmaking & put
excellence and
innovation at the forefront of his work, Henry Hampton Award winners
exemplify the very
best in foundation-funded media. You can view the list of films selected
for this year's
festival and download the catalogue copy at this link:

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
