Kathleen,

If all you need is a VHS (since it looks like DVD is not available), just
borrow a decent copy from another library and make a VHS replacement copy.
Fully legal under 108 and could circulate just like your badly deteriorating
copy. http://librarycopyright.net/108spinner/

Subject: [Videolib] Source for "Girls Apart"

Hi all -

Our copy of "Girls Apart" is on VHS and badly deteriorated and I haven't been
able to find a vendor who is currently selling it online. Any ideas?

There's distributor info on the page above, but AFSC just has lending copies
and I can't track down anything through Bowdoin.

Thanks in advance!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
