Hello listmates,

My name is Curtis Chin and I am the producer of a new documentary on Asian
American empowerment called "Vincent Who?" The film won the 2009 Media Award
from the National Association for Multicultural Education and we have
screened at over 130 colleges and libraries in the past year. We have been
invited to participate on a panel about Asian Americans and social justice
during this year's ALA conference in DC. It's my first one so any advice
would be greatly appreciated. What day should I fly in and leave? Any mixers
or things I should look out for?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Curtis

> End of videolib Digest, Vol 30, Issue 20
> ****************************************
>
VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
