Hello, All. Can anyone tell me whether or not the following title is available somewhere to purchase? Our VHS copy has become unwatchable and we have one faculty member who regularly uses this title in his classroom instruction: Beethoven: The Age of Revolution (at head of title: Classical Vienna) (Man and Music) Films for the Humanities, c.1988 Run time: 53 minutes I have queried FFH but have not yet received a response. I do not see it listed on their website anywhere. I did find out that at some point within the last five years, Films Media Group (FFH) released a digital version but I can't find anything out about that on their website either. And a couple more questions: If this title is out of print and I borrow the title on ILL to make a replacement copy, does that copy have to be done in VHS format or can I make a DVD copy? Also, can I circulate the replacement copy (in whatever format) outside of my library or does it have to be in-library use only? Thanks! VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
