Anthony, 99% of the time you would be right, but not in this case. The D.I is one of the Warner Archive titles, in fact I remember someone that worked there telling me it is one their all time bestsellers. I am curious as to why this would not be in WorldCat. Does that mean not a single library bought and catalogued it? I know a number of you bought Warner Archive titles even when the only way they sold them was direct ( I believe Amazon and maybe other places now have them)
Anyway it is up to you Norma if you want to buy a copy for your patron, but in general I would strongly advice you to check out the Warner Archive titles. It is a great collection and not available through all the usual wholesalers. They routinely have 25% off sales. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
