The National Media Market Board of Directors is pleased to announce the results of its recent board elections. Three new board members will begin serving two-year terms at the Market¹s board meeting in Las Vegas in October.
The newly elected board members are Christine Crowley, Northwest Vista College, San Antonio, TX; deg farrelly, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ and Sonia Maltais, CineFete, Montreal, QC. Christine and deg represent higher ed and being active contributors are well known in the videolib community. Sonia represents NMM distributors. VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
