The bad news-I cannot accept the position because of The good news-our college district recently launched a very favorable retirement incentive program and I have taken advantage of it. I will retire as of August 19th. Being on this list and enjoying your company in person and the repartee on the list has been the highlight of many a day. I have learned so much and managed to enhance our collections tremendously. I hope my successor and staff will continue the interest in developing our media collection. I am going to China in late September with a People to People Ambassador program. I told Ursula I would tout the NMM to them, given the opportunity. Thanks to all for being helpful, knowledgeable colleagues. You have made my professional life more interesting and varied. I'll probably lurk for a bit to share info with my staff and then let one of them sign on if they wish!
