Matt, that has become a staple for the last couple of years. I think I
suggested a rubber room, the first time. Seriously though, it is a
discussion that will be ongoing as there are many issues vis a vis
demand, budgets, pricing, format, etc.

Subject: [Videolib] Purchasing models at NMM

Hi All,

Before I volunteer to do anything, does everyone think that the National
Media Market would be a good time and place to have a something
(discussion, debate, roundtable, rave, water slide) around purchasing
models? If not, is there another place or venue that would be better?

Cheers,

Matt

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
