Hi I served as consultant for this enterprise in its start-up phase. I think their list of titles is interesting, albeit a bit uneven and off the beaten track for mainstream Asian/Asian American studies. I believe Rachel Gordon (a member of this list) is currently working with APF...maybe you can contact her.
I'm currently trying to persuade Stephen Gong at the Center for Asian American Media to hook up with an established streaming provider (ASP?) THAT would be a real coup!!! CAAM's list is absolutely essential, in my book, for any institution with interests in Asian American history and social/cultural issues and events. gary > Hi Everyone, > > Continuing the theme of streaming collection services, one of our > librarians > recently received a trial offer for the Asia Pacific Films streaming > service, and I was wondering if anyone could speak to personal experience > as > it related to the quality of this resource and if so, who the audience is > for it it at your school?
