Rick raises a good point. In another list-serve which I belong to (Castrecl), the following is posted with each posting that is submitted:
**** PLEASE!!! EDIT YOUR POST WHEN RESPONDING!! **** PLEASE DELETE THE CASTRECL INFO FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR REPLY BEFORE SENDING (it is added to every post)!! This admonition works very in keeping down the verbiage that builds up.
