Hi, Meghann,

One more from Bullfrog Films. Location of the film is closer to Delaware: the
community of Pennsauken, NJ.

The New Metropolis (2-part series)

Two short documentaries highlight the efforts of some of America's first
suburbs to reverse their long decline.

A Crack In The Pavement, narrated by Peter Coyote, features two first suburban
officials struggling to fix their crumbling infrastructure and argues for
regional cooperation. The New Neighbors, narrated by Ruby Dee, tells the
inspiring story of two ordinary people, one black and one white, who have
successfully made racial integration the centerpiece of revitalizing
Pennsauken, NJ.

Subject: [Videolib] Perennial topic: intercultural communication

Dear Collective Brain,

Here's a topic that comes up regularly from faculty in different departments,
and I'm always surprised that there isn't more available specifically
addressing the subject:

"Intercultural communication"

Most of what we have is dated, and I'm always keeping an eye out for more
current docs / educational videos that do a good job of specifically addressing
this. So, I thought I'd toss this out to the list to see if the CB has any
recent favorites to suggest.

Thanks in advance,

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
