"Writ Writer" is a film about the prisoners' rights movement in Texas in the 
1960s and 1970s. It focuses on the legal battle waged by a state prisoner 
against the Texas Department of Corrections. It is available from New Day 
Films, where there are a number of other excellent films in this category.
