Hi Matthew (and all),

Pragda has a few of documentaries that make a really valuable contribution to
this subject:

SPAIN IN CRISIS: A COLLECTIVE RESPONSE is a new DVD compilation that we
recently released that looks at the Spanish fiscal crisis with a focus on the
"Indignados Movement" otherwise known as "15M", which influenced popular
protest movements all over the world including the USA's own Occupy Wall Street.

CRONICA D'UNA MIRADA: CLANDESTINE FILMMAKING IN FRANCO'S SPAIN 196-1975 is an
award-winning six-part documentary series about the little-know history of a
clandestine group of anti-Franco filmmakers who put their art into the service
of a political movement, altering the course of Spanish history.

THE DEATH OF PINOCHET, while not specifically about a particular movement,
captures the reactions of both Pinochetists and leftist Chileans to the death
of Pinochet and illustrates the dictator's ongoing divisive influence on
today's Chile.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or for any further assistance!
Best,
Olivia

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
