Hi Jodi, We've sat down at Rutgers and discussed specific language, what terms we deemed acceptable for our purposes, etc. Due to the sensitive legal/copyright issues involved, I'm hesitant to put anything definitive in writing when addressing such a large audience. However, we do host video content internally, on a consortial platform, and via vendors platforms. We also have formal, executed licenses and more informal correspondence conferring streaming rights. The variables are too expansive to briefly summarize here, unfortunately. Regardless, I'd be more than willing to field questions and share our experiences off list with interested parties. It's a fascinating and rapidly changing marketplace.

There's some brief context for this in my piece from a few years ago, "Mainstreaming Media: Innovating Media Collections at the NCSU Libraries," available at: http://docs. lib .purdue.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1217&context=charleston I'd be happy to discuss further if you or anyone would like.
