Dear VRT members,
The VRT 2015 Program Committee received some great ideas for programs
for ALA's 2015 annual conference in San Francisco, and we have followed
up on several of them. Now it's your turn again! If you would like to
submit a formal proposal for the ALA Annual Conference to be held June
25-30, 2015, please complete the online form and follow the instructions
on the VRT website at
http://www.ala.org/vrt/2015-annual-program-proposal-information/.
The deadline for proposals is Sept. 1, 2014. The Program Committee will
review all proposals and notify participants of proposal acceptance by
Sept. 20, 2014.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
