September 1 is Video Round Table's deadline for proposals for ALA 2015
in San Francisco. If you have a conference program idea, we encourage
you to submit a proposal. To do so, please complete the online form and
follow the instructions on the VRT website at
http://www.ala.org/vrt/2015-annual-program-proposal-information/.
If you have any questions about submitting your proposal, please feel
free to contact one of the committee co-chairs.
The Program Committee will review all proposals and notify participants
of proposal acceptance by Sept. 20, 2014.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
