Is films on demand in the list of sites on your proxy server?
I think you need to do more than just put the proxy prefix on the url, you need
to have FOD listed as a place to authenticate.

Subject: [Videolib] Films on Demand, embedding in Blackboard, off campus access

I'm trying to figure out how to make sure that videos from Films on Demand that
instructors embed in their Blackboard courses are accessible from off campus.

I've tried adding our ezproxy prefix into the embed code, which does result in
the correct authentication screen appearing, but then the video doesn't display
after institutional credentials are entered.

Does anyone know how to make it work?

Thanks!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
