Jessica, I wouldn't know the answer about multiple vendors owning distribution
rights, but I have come across some examples where the filmmakers are marketing
as well as a licensed distributor.

given the rights issues I am surprised anyone carries it.

I am curious though is it common for more than one company to have the same
titles for streaming? I know sometimes rights are split by use ( one company
carries it as part of larger collection and one arrange streaming of just that
title for a fixed period) but did not know more than one company would be able
to license same rights.

Is EotP in streaming only carried by one vendor, or are there several? Who are

All the best, Randal

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
