Has anyone successfully customized the VM variable vm-subject-ignore-prefix? It's causes VM to ignore "Re:" at the beginning of subject lines when threading, sorting, marking, and killing messages by subject. I can't get customizations to work.
The default value is: "^\(re: *\)+" which ignores any number of "Re:" prefixes. I want it to ignore "Fwd:" and "FW:" as well, so I changed it to: "^\(re: *\|fwd: *\|fw: *\)+" My change had no effect.
