I would like to see some of the displays come up in imperial units (mph, miles, feet). I see a comment in viktrwlayer_prowin.c looking for a global way to handle units. I've started working on developing a global preference (similar to the way degree format is handled) to handle this. I've prototyped this for a couple elements in the track properties window and in the status updates for mouse motion. Preliminary work looks good. Thoughts? Concerns? Yes, editorially, I'd love to see everyone go metric (and I do at work), but bicycling for fun I still stick to imperial units.
