first of all let me say: great work!

I cloned the gitroot/viking yesterday, compiled and played a bit with viking.

I ususally document what I'm doing and think about contributing this to the 
reference manual. how is this possible? the wiki asks for login, but my sf 
account (alexxy) does not work. how to get activated?


a second question:
is there an unstable branch where new patches are gathered?
there are lots of patches around the tracker and mailing list. i find it hard 
to get an overview without scanning all those lists. 

e.g. I think the pl scripts posted by lixus to purge unwanted tiles from the 
cache / download areas in several zoom levels for offline use could go in the 
tools dir of an 'unstable branch'. this would allow to fetch, test, endorse 
or expand it whithout the need to publish this via the mailing list.
