I know Landsat server:

http://onearth.jpl.nasa.gov/wms.cgi?request=GetMap&layers=global_mosaic&styles=&format=image/jpeg&;

Just type in this URL in WMS URL entry.

Landsat is a bit slow. So before using it you probably need to zoom
to an area that covers few dozen of square kilometers.

I use mapserver, that serves my collection of geotiffs. I also
run a perl script, that implements a WMS server above Google
satellite imagery.
