I don't think WMS fits into MapSource. You see, in my patch, there is no code cut'n'pasted from vikmapslayer. I am now working on following things: 1) Form WMS URLs correctly. Check for all necessary parameters: GetMap, layers, SRS, etc... May be run GetCapabilities request for one time. 2) In case of server returning XML instead of image, parse it and return errors to the user. 3) Store correctly configured WMS servers in ~/.viking.
