Agreed in principle that something like this makes sense. The only problem with docbook is that some people think it's too hard to edit. An alternative is asciidoc, which is less powerful but easy. But if someone is willing to do the main wiki->docbook translation, it's probabbly easy enough to maintain. So I'm not objecting at all, just making an observation.
