That's nice: I didn't know that it was possible :) But I don't think that we can allow to modify a trackpoint without firstly clicking on it as viking doesn't have any undo function... >> 2) it is not possible to add points to the track >> e.g. like in josm (see [2] below. > > For point 2, was I thinking of adding a 'Insert Trackpoint' feature, which > would put in a new trackpoint after the selected point; which would be at the > mid point towards the next TP. > > Initially I thought to enable it via the layer menu right click entry, > however the trackpoint only seems 'selected' when the edit trackpoint dialog > is shown. I think it makes sense to place this command there, as we already have several commands (delete, split or move for example). > I recently stopped using viking for route planning, finding > www.bikehike.co.uk much more useful (especially being in the UK!). Are you more interested in the Ordnance Survey maps it provide, or in the various tools available to edit tracks ? I will search if it is possible to add these maps as a map layer in viking. Btw, I have never found an option in viking to export tracks as a .gpx file. Does the option exist ? If not, does anybody know how hard it would be to add this option ?
