I'd like to see an entry in viking.prefs for
the Mode. It certainly would be nice to
be able to have Viking come up in the mode
one uses most. In my case that's UTM and
having it come up in Mercator every time I invoke
it is painful. It's true that if one opens
a Viking Project the mode for that project is saved,
but most of the time I'm creating new ones so
I always have to switch to UTM. Having the
default Mode in preferences would be very nice.
