On my laptop I run either Windows Or Linux. Under Windows XP
I tried viking-1.1.1_win_gtk.zip and that package is
missing libtiff-3.dll. By putting the path to the
GIMP package I had installed under Windows XP that has
a libtiff-3.dll I was able to get Viking to work under Windows XP.
One can't do geotiffs with Viking without libtiff. Just FYI
for whoever maintains viking-1.1.1_win_gtk.zip.
