Back home and catching up on everything since May 1st. As for my tips, they are more in a "help" vein (most of them) and I don't know if they have been getting much traffic (can we track that?) -- and they don't fit very cleanly with the rest of the site. I believe some of them are probably good merge candidates, and I will attempt to find those over the next few weeks, see if I can remove some of them tips that ARE the style you are used too. As for the purely help-based tips, if you want them removed, I have no issue with it. I still believe there is room on the tips wiki for a help section, and I believe that creating a separate site or wiki for it -- would reduce value. I think many times, the help someone seeks, is just a tip to someone else. I see a great degree of interplay between tips and help.
