Unfortunately we there is no such vim-latex developer currently
available. I mainly apply patches and sometimes try to fix issues, that
I can easily reproduce. Imho the best way to go is if you could create a
small example vim script that reproduces the bug that you suspect to be
in input(), then this can be reported easily at vim upstream.
