Hum... I'm not very sure I got it.
I've actually a vanilla installation of Vim with almost no configuration.
I've copied all files in the correct place, but still, vim-latex gets
activated for every file type.
I don't think I want to customise... I simply want it to work as expected.

Perhaps I'm missing something...
Could you help me better understand?
