Curioser and curioser! When I explicitly modify a buffer by hand, the
event IS triggered. But if the buffer is generated by :TOhtml command,
it is marked as 'modified', but the event IS NOT triggered. I do not
know how :TOhtml obtains this effect, I've failed to reproduce it by
hand.
