The CVS respository appears to be fine now.  There were still a few
files that needed updating, besides the ones that needed to be deleted.
They were all runtime files, so if you built Vim from CVS you should be
OK.  But if you did "make install" you have a few updated runtime files,
you better sync and do it again.

I ended up writing a Vim script to check out the current files from
CVS and delete/add/update the files with what's released.  Hopefully
that means the same thing won't happen again.
