Cheers.  When I was doing the rounds looking at DVCSs last year, git 
failed at the first hurdle because of this.  Time to go back around the 
loop it seems.

Having said, that I have no issue with hg since I started using it.  The 
rate of progress of these things, wait a few months and your problem is 
usually solved.
