I haven't tried it, mostly looks OK.  Except:

-" vim: noet sw=2 sts=2
+" Make sure any patches will probably use consistent indent
+"   vim: ts=2 sw=2 sts=2 et

All runtime files use a tabstop setting of 8.


About these deleted lines:

        -" hover opening implies dynamic folding

        -endif

When someone sources 2html.vim directly, not using :TOhtml, won't
something break now?
