Sample? Can you copy paste some JSON lines into Open Office and colorize it? AFAIK you can highlight individual lines - however while editing updating the syntax is hard because you have to parse the json and redo the syntax description on the fly whenever you type a char. To give you an idea there is a CSS plugin which highlights colors the correct way - however Vim gets much slower. Can you also talk about the reason why you're asking for it? Eventually a check on buf write can be equally useful but is eventually much faster to implement using a scripting language.
