And the discussion of such questions is the purpose of the vim_use list.  The 
difference between the vim_use and vim_dev lists is not the depth of the 
discussion but the scope.  Questions having to do with the use of vim, whether 
how to edit text or how to compile it on a particular platform, whether from a 
newbie or a user with years of experience, are the domain of the vim_use list.  
The vim_dev list is for the discussion of vim development issues such as 
internal operation, new features and bugs.
