A question came up on superuser.com about backwards motions in Vim:

I recommended the vimtutor to get started, but as the one asking the
question pointed out this is not in there.
I think that at least 'b' should be added under the motion shortlist
in Lesson 2.3.
The "motion shortlist" you mention only talks about 'hjkl', so it's not
really a "motion shortlist", more like "the simplest motion commands".
'b' is mentioned alongside 'w', when you get to section 03.1: 'Word
movement'.
Maybe it would make sense to add a link to section 3 ("Moving around")
in 02.3, something like this line:
"""
The are many more ways to move around in Vim that are described in the
next chapter: |usr_03|.
"""
Might also help to retitle 02.3 from "Moving around" (which is
confusingly the same as section 3's title) to "Basic movement".
Or, from the opposite standpoint, maybe the way 'vimtutor' is laid out
makes sense, and since it's not intended to be a reference guide, it
should be left alone. 'b' is listed on the same screen when you do:
:help w
As is 'ge' when you issue:
:help 'e'
