Hi,

I have posted this a long time ago. The current guard for syntax files

if !exists("main_syntax")
  if version < 600
    syntax clear
  elseif exists("b:current_syntax")
    finish
  endif
  let main_syntax = '...'
endif

is incomplete, becuase it does not guard against included files.

How about adding

if !exists("main_syntax")
  if version < 600
    syntax clear
  elseif exists("b:current_syntax")
    finish
  endif
  let main_syntax = '...'
else
  if has_key("syntax_includes")
    finish
  else
    let syntax_includes['...'] = 1
  endif
endif

So the runtime syntax does not executed again if the user syntax have
been included when using syn include?
