I started using vim7.4 (built Aug 10 2013 32 GUI OLE) on windows XP sp3.
It crashed once while editing a large text file (159000 lines):
:%s,\(}\s*\)\(.*\)\n{ \(ABC.*\)\n\zs\(xyza=xxx\),\1\2{ \3xyza=\2-,gc
:undo
This happened because there is no way to see if the s///c was correct
before moving to next match, so
will it be possible to add these options to :%s///confirm:
1. comma: Redisplay the changed lines in this match, possibly
highlighted (don't move cursor).
2. semi-colon: Display the matches \1 \2 \& in message window
(don't change anything yet).
thanks,
