100 means that useful commands will disappear rapidly (testing some complicated 
pattern or one-line scripts easily generates 10 variants). 65 536 is there 
because I periodically happen to remember lots of one-liner scripts I never 
intended to repeat (and thus did not add to vimrc) or which appeared as too 
trivial to save (I have it in history: good, saves some time; do not have: well 
I will retype it in a minute). Though due to macro feature, wipes during 
testing of parinfo and the fact that my long-running vims are more likely to 
crash then to exit I did not yet hit 10 000 limit in vim, but in zsh I am close 
to it.
