Hello developers, my apologies for bothering you. Vim is a wonderful, dependable editor and I set it up on every Linux system I use.
I hope you can reach out to the Debian and Ubuntu people who approve package names and and get all the vim package names starting with vim-. I keep forgetting the name of the Debian vim package that contains encryption and syntax highlighting. Raspberrypi and Ubuntu package name lists provide vim-tiny when I want everything. Vim-tiny help is awkward because vim-tiny help does not tell the name of the vim package I need. Here is what I would like to see. When I search "apt-cache search vim" I would like to see all the vim packages. I really enjoy the great things you have made vim do. I would like the names that come up with a search to clearly indicate all of the important vim packages. Thank you very much. Lee -- -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
