These additional '\n' in Japanese translations are intentional. Without each of them, the Japanese message is connected with the next message and it exceeds 80 columns, because this is a part of long messages. See L4046 to L4079 in memline.c: https://github.com/vim/vim/blob/master/src/memline.c#L4076-L4079 So please do not remove these additional '\n'.
