Please don't remove this, Bram.  Now that MacVim has dumped support for
10.6 and below (ye gods!) the only way for Macs running those systems to
have a gui with an up-to-date patchlevel is to use the old Carbon interface.

FYI, 10.7 is not even five years old yet, so it's not as though we're
talking about the Mac analog of Win95.  (That would be MacOS 9 and under).
