Hi Bram, I guess that it depends on the job output characteristics, but I can still see cursor blinking issues while using 'out_io': buffer in the gui. I don't see it always, but there are cases in which it becomes really disturbing. It was so bad that I've tried to disable cursor blinking while there is an active job (adding blinkon0 to 'guicursor'). It didn't help -the cursor is still unstable even though it should not blink at all. Please let me know if you need a test case for this and I'll try to reproduce this behavior with a simpler job.
